  1. It might have been the last day for people to accept/deny their admissions, and thus for people to get immediately off the wait list, but they take people off the wait list between now and when the program starts. There's going to be people who accept now, that get in elsewhere and then give up their seat. So it's still possible.
  2. We ended up needing to make a question on the join page that was related to something in the offer letter (I think we used something like, what does the third bullet on your offer letter start with) or something like that. We didn't have that initially and we got TONS of spammers that joined and posted a bunch of trash. Just fyi. Congrats on the acceptance!
  3. Last year emails came out like 10-11 days after interviews, it was pretty quick.
  4. They increased the cohort size from 45 to 55 starting with Cohort 2027 that started this past January. They're still probably interviewing 96 people like last year, so you've got good odds if you got an interview.
  5. I think last year about 520 applied, 96 interviewed. They can accept a max of 55. While I know some people got off the waitlist, I don't know how many.
  6. Congrats to those of you getting interviews, such an exciting time! Best of luck with your preparations and interviews!
  7. Sure thing, it was my first group interview as well and I was concerned that people we're going to be shoving each other out of the way to make themselves look better. That didn't happen, as mentioned, it was structured very fairly and was really well structured.
  8. Unfortunately I can't say much about the particulars, but if you get invited for an interview, they'll tell you generally what to study/how to prepare, and that should help out. I think the structure on how they do it makes it pretty fair.
  9. They do their interviews in groups. There's two time slots on two different days. If you get invited to interview they'll likely ask your preferences of the four slots and then assign you to one of them. They're done in person not virtual.
  10. Last year emails went out 4/12, I believe the year prior was similar time frame. I know last year they received 500+ applications that caused a slow down.
  11. Keep hope! Start date is still a ways away, and I'm sure people are still interviewing for other programs, a lot of interviews for other programs are up and coming this fall, which could cause some people to change programs. I think they left the cohort at 45 students.
  12. They gave us until June 22 to reply to the invite. They probably won't send out any more until after that date when they know how many people accept/decline from the first batch.
  13. 4 years high acuity ICU with ECMO, impella, IABP, CRRT/CVVHD, VAD, EVD, open heart recovery experience, leadership, preceptor, committee work, volunteer work, military veteran, 3.9 BSN GPA, 3.9 last 60 GPA, 3.6 cumulative GPA, 3.6 science GPA I will likely decline my interview because I've already accepted a seat in a different program.
  14. Check your app status it's probably closed and won't hear from them. That's what mine says.
  15. Thanks but was more so posting for other people to check their app status who didn't ever hear back
  16. FWIW, never heard yes or no from them, but my application file now says "Closed." They couldn't even tell me no.
  17. I never heard from them yes or no either. Portal just says complete app and (active).
  18. I think when they mentioned it in the info meeting several months ago it's typically June or July. If we actually do it, she said it's discounted it's like $75 total or something similar.
  19. I received a call today to interview virtually for Thursday morning. Unfortunately I am not available that day, and asked if there was an alternate date I could be scheduled for. I was told I'd be reconsidered with all applicants for the interview date in June. So probably just prevented myself from getting another opportunity to interview.
  20. Sounds like every school so far this cycle. Other programs I applied to who typically receive 300 apps had 600+
  21. We were told this is changing this year. We are going to be assigned a county (Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach) and we will be doing all of our clinicals for the entire program in that county. When we have our in person orientation in November we are picking our preferences in order of 1-3 and we'll be assigned shortly thereafter it sounds like. Correct, from what I remember them telling us, we'll put in our preferences for counties on orientation and find out shortly after.
