  1. I would say Oregon might be nice. Northern Cali, I know is EXTREMELY expensive but the weather is nice. My friend moved up there but they are coming back because they miss their family. She is considering moving again when her husbands kids get older I think she said
  2. Southern California. It is SO expensive, and the people are dirty and rude. I can't stand it. I grew up here and it's just getting worse honestly. Not a good place to raise a family IMO. Not to mention, OVERCROWDED!
  3. I have considered moving to Utah for some time now, but I'm not sure it would be worth it or not. Coming from California.... I can't stand living in Cali TBH. It's overcrowded and people are rude, and it's SO HOT!!!!! I'm just curious if it's worth living in Utah and being a nurse. In CA they get paid decently, but the cost of living is so high. Does anyone have any input about what the pay is like in Utah for LPN and for RN? What the cost of living is like? How do you find jobs? Is it difficult to find employment? Any input would be great, thanks!
  4. Hi! So I have a question! I am currently going to Concorde Career College to get my LVN. I am really concerned about the recent closures of different trade schools. I know currently where I am, I am provided with a good education. There are quite a few great instructors. I am a little frustrated because we aren't getting the best clinical sites and it is very irritating. But I know we are learning a lot in theory. I got in an arguement with someone about accreditation and this girl was saying Concorde isn't accredited. But it's an LVN program so they aren't accredited by the same organizations as RN programs are they? I know they are accredited by the state for sure. But when it comes to trying to get into a bridge program, how is this going to affect me? I mean I know I'm going to have to take A&P again, I get that. But I have been told when it comes to he bridge program, you basically jump ahead in he ASN program. Since its 2 years, you only have one year to go. Has anyone had experience with this? Or can offer me any direction?
