    I think there would be some resistence. But, if we play our cards right, watch our egos and use a little finesse, we could make great strides. We in EMS can be very territorial/exclusive. We feel like the majority of souls out there have no understanding of our jobs and we resent it with a passion. However, I think RN's who started out in EMS and have a love for it would fit in quite nicely.

    Hi all, I'm new to this site and happy to have found it. I'm currently a Paramedic full-time with a great hospital owned service in Central Illinois. We keep pretty busy and I still love the job after 12 years. I'm also an RN and haven't found an area which challenges me as much as pre-hospital, so I'm still looking. I'm very interested in Prehospital RN and would love to be part of a movement to pioneer a program in the State of Illinois. Any comments, advice, links to web-sites..etc. would be much appreciated. Thanks! :wink2:
