I was wondering if any Seattle U APNI grads could speak on how finding work was post-graduation. I'm interested in the FNP, especially... Did you have any problems finding work? Did you feel like the program prepared you adequately? Anything you felt like you missed during the accelerated process? How important is the DNP? Also for anyone that has worked with APNI grads, did YOU feel like they were adequately prepared? I've looked through a lot of past posts and didn't find much on the outcomes of the program. Hey Everyone! I'm in the early stages of getting my applications ready for next year. I ultimately want to be a FNP, and I was wondering what you all would do if you got into UW's ABSN program vs the APNI at Seattle U. The APNI will be a quicker path to my goals, as I would need to do the ABSN then reapply for the DNP at UW. However UW has the name recognition across the country. I was wondering does name recognition matter as much in the Nursing field as it does in other fields? Can anyone speak to the quality of the schools? Does anyone have experience with making a choice like this and have any insight? Thanks!
