Hello, recently I decided to change my major from nursing to health care administration. I began to ask about switiching, and my boyfriend's dad said it was a bad idea. He said you move up quicker when you become a nurse first (he has a master's in health care admin & nursing). I was just wondering should I continue to get my health care administration degree or become a nurse first ? I also wondered was it an option to get my health care administration degree then become a nurse since they have the same pre-reqs?

I speak really well in person. Thank you for your concerns, I do understand the importance of grammar. I also didn't realize anyone would critic me so much on me just needing a little advice. I did revise the post , thanks again.

Hello, I really need advice on some things I recently graduated may 2015 I was the salutatorian of my class's and have a 21 ACT score. To jumpstart before I started community college I took summer corses comp 1 passed with a b ,comp 2 69 average but you have to have a 70 to receive credit I think .I then started fall courses ,I have a b in pyschology and history for art I failed the course and in a&p I have a c or b. I can't exactly remember ,but I didn't take the lab along with it .I was just wondering would I still be able to become a nurse ? Could I just retake the courses online or over summer and everything be alright will it hold me back a semester ? I really want to be an rn and do something dealing with dermatology. I don't exactly know what , but I want to be in that area . Please help sorry if I jumped from subject to subject and btw I know I am smart but I was away from home on campus which I didn't like( I will be commuting to a jr college right by my house this semester ) .I also hardly ever studied and let irrelevant things distract me. This semester will be totally different. I want to be successful and make my mom proud so I plan to make only a's and b's.
