  1. So I'm from Texas and will be moving down to Gonzales, LA in the summer. I've already been accepted to LSU but im not sure if I should do the out of state tuition. But I also have applied to University of Louisiana at Lafayette and im going to try to get the Out of state waiver. Should go to LSU then Lsuhsc and pay out of state or go to ULL and try and get the out of state waiver then to lsuhsc? Also i have to drive to lsu which is about 30mins away from where I will be living and ULL is about an hour and a half away. Also im going the bsn route. So my tuition if i go to lsu and lsuhsc with oos tuition is 70k. Is it worth it? I know the rule of thumb is not to have that much student loan vs the pay salary, but i was thinking about joining the airforce and being a medic. I was planning on doing afrotc but you have to do so much while in college and why not join after I get my Bsn? Also before all of this i was thinking about premed(becoming a surgeon my dream) /predental but i love the bsn route because of all of the different specialities like a nurse anesthetist or a first assistant.
