  1. Silvertree! Thank you very much for pointing out the resources on the library page. I can not wait to meet the librarian she seems absolutely phenomenal. Very detailed and I see how this will be extremely helpful in the near future. Thank you for all of the tips. Very much appreciated :) Hope to talk more with you.
  2. Thanks for the info! Are you in the evening weekend class or day time program?
  3. $30.00 including the student edition book. $20.00 if you bring your own book (must be the new book for the AHA BLS 2015 updates). Normally a CPR is $50.00 for new cert. The card will not be given same day. The training center must verify the class before card is distributed. Usually doesn't take longer than a few days to receive it. Also, the class will be 7:30am instead of 1:00pm. Thanks!
  4. Hi everyone! I will be teaching a CPR course on Saturday 03/12 around 1:00pm. There are 5 more spots that can be filled. Please let me know if you are interested. Most likely we will just be doing a class near Gold Coast in Chicago. Please let me know by today so that I would be able to get the supplies needed. Thanks!
  5. Congrats!!!!! Way to go :)
  6. Lzuniga did you hear back yet?!
  7. Just sent you an email :) If anyone else wants to take a class we can chat and have a full class of new RESU students!
  8. Did anyone get accepted into the Evening/Weekend program yet?!
  9. Hi! No I heard back a week or so ago! I'm sure you will hear back soon since the deadline to submit everything was Feb 1. Also, one of the requirements is CPR for Healthcare Providers... so if anyone in the Chicago area needs to take it once accepted, I am a CPR instructor and would be willing to hold a class.
  10. Thanks!! I am extremely excited. I took my TEAS and finished my application sometime in Oct. The TEAS seemed like the longest part of my application to process according to the student portal. Please let me know once you hear back. Since you just took the TEAS I am sure it will take a few weeks to process!! :) Keep me updated
  11. Hi Everyone! I found out I have gained acceptance into the program. I am looking forward to meeting all of you. It would be awesome to start an email thread or Facebook group once more hear back! Anyone else get any good news?
  12. Hi! Very cool. :) Have you heard anything from others that were or are in the program? How they like it? What their experience has been? Thanks! Good luck to you!
  13. Hi Everyone! I have a few questions about the program. I noticed there are breaks after each semester are these long enough to take a short vacation? Do you still have clinical during these times? How do you like the program?! Did anyone do the Evening and Weekend option? Thanks!
  14. I have a questions for those that are in the program. On the Academic Calendar it shows there are breaks between semesters... is there a lot of work that needs to be done during that time? Clinicals? Or is it a good time to take a short vacation? Thanks!
  15. Hi ECANurse... The first two terms do not include clinical correct? Thanks!
