Hello! So I wonder if anyone can give me some insight on the IRSC nursing program. I am a sophomore in college, with a 3.0 gpa. i have all As and Bs, except one C and unfortunately one D. (C in economics, D in world religions) these classes were both taken my first semester while I was duel enrolled in high school at IRSC. I really messed up and goofed off the beginning of senior year and now I am really kicking myself for it. I am planning to retake the world religions just because it is taking my GPA down so much. Right now I have a total of 39 credits. This upcoming spring semester I am planning on taking Bio 1 with lab, Nutrition, and I am registered to take the CNA course as well. my counselor suggested I take Micro in summer 1 and A&P 1 in summer 2. Once I do that i will have all my prereqs done to apply for fall 2016. I will take A&P II, development, and retake world religions in the fall. So my question is it a smart idea to take Micro and A&P1 in the summer? I will only take one class at a time so i can just focus on that one. But, I know they both cover lots of important material and I'd like to hear from those who have taken it. I purchased a few study books and practice exam for the NLN. Now that finals are over, i was going to go over them and really study for this month and take the NLN once, and I heard it is a 6 month waiting period to take it again. So that gives me the opportunity to take it again before I apply in fall. Also how does the point system at IRSC work? I can't really seem to find much information about it. Thank You if you took the time to read all of that!
