OMG!!! Congratulations!!! Is anyone here from Montgomery? There were a couple of absent people on orientation and the class size looked super small! Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

How are yall who dont have health insurance going about the health insurance part? I see a couple going through the schools insurance which is about 600$ down payment and 308$ a month. Anyone else going a different/cheaper route?

How did you go about getting it? Just applying and filling it out online? I just looked at the schools health insurance and 600$ up front and 309$ a month is WAY too expensive!

Probably ask in the other hopefuls chat. They are farther ahead and I think done with that part. I've only filled out the form and sent it so far.

Letters are in !!!

I've been praying since April ? I was told late May/ early June so who even knows! Late may is done so hopefully this next week coming up. But who knows what early June means to the people sending out acceptance/denial letters. I just be checking my email daily, nightly, when I'm done social media-ing, and well basically anytime I hear a beep from my phone. It will come eventually, right ?! But yes fingers crossed for Monday!

Thank you. Yea after failing I told myself maybe after my last kid is in school I'll go back. So here I am applying again fingers crossed it goes way better. And my youngest sleeps through the night now so I got hope. I would love to get my BSN but I think that's still a while away for me. There were a couple girls in the program with 4-5 kids who did it so it is possible. I guess it just wasn't my time yet. Good luck on your nursing journey too!

I'm old lol I'm only applying for LVN. Long story short I applied and got accepted in 2017 but failed my 1st semester. I've got 4 kids and a husband who works out of town ALOT. Not that that's an excuse. Life happened I guess I can say. So yea that's why I'm just applying to LVN.

That's odd. I've seen a couple people in the ADN thread who applied to the LVN program and also the ADN program and were just waiting to see if they got into ADN to go ahead and decline their spot on LVN. And those who didn't get into the ADN just stayed in the LVN program they already got accepted into.
