  1. Has anyone completed Emergency Nurse Practitioner certificate? I am looking at doing it, however the website links aren't very helpful. It is a certification thru portfolio, if you have completed it can you guide to me to what they are looking for? I have a lengthy CV, all the requirements but the portion I am stuck on is clinical examples. Do they want clinical examples of all this garbage? Just saying if you work in the ED you do this on every patient anyways.... I will take any/all feedback that might be helpful. Thank you (from the website)..Assessing, treating and dispositioning emergency patients using current knowledge and skills including rationale o Performing a history based on chief complaint/presenting problem o Utilizing a review of systems inclusive of pertinent positives and negatives o Performing a physical examination o Formulating appropriate differential diagnoses o Initiating, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests/procedures o Prescribing evidence-based treatments, therapies, and procedures weighing risk and benefits o Systematically re-evaluating patient status and responses to treatment o Recognizing and initiating appropriate and timely consultations o Utilizing complex data and information obtained during interview, examination, and diagnostic procedures in identifying diagnoses o Determining a diagnosis at the time of disposition o Developing an appropriate discharge plan considering patients, families, groups, communities, and institutions
