Hello all Im a new hire as the Director of nursing for an assisted living facility. I would love all the help i can get, in order to run a great team and work seamless with everyone. I am EXTREMELY excited for this new chapter in my life and would love to pick your brain!!! - i have requested my training to consist of shadowing and assisting every inch of how the facility is ran, my view is how can i tell my employees what to do if i don't even know what they do, i want to be a active director and be someone that anyone can come to. Of course All my training is not that but for much of it yes. * i will be getting my RCFE admin and would like insight on that and how it is I over see a team of about 15 Care providers. and about 50 residents. would like insight on: -staying organized. -keeping trust and order to the Wellness staff. -Tips for a New Nursing Director -..... any tips tricks, what worked for you what didnt work, what were your struggles?
