Hello thinking of doing my unit clerk course here in Alberta, then eventually get my LPN. Just want to hear from some actual unit clerks in the area about how they like it. Pros and cons, any suggestions? Is it hard to get a job? Pay worth it? Shifts? Just anything you could think of. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
I am in the same boat! Although I think due to money and bills I am going to have to take the longer route of unit clerk to lpn. I just hope I am making the right decision.
Hello, Just wondering is anyone has or knows someone who has gone this route. I am not in any position where I can go back to school 100% fulltime for my LPN, so was thinking of doing my unit clerk, then once settled do my LPN part time. Norquest offers it part time as Bow Valley no longer does. Can anyone give any suggestions? Thank you!
