  1. You are definitely not alone... you could've taken the words right out of my mouth because I feel the same exact way... told myself the same exact thing that I wanted out after a year doing bedside. I've been on my own going on 3 months now and half the time I have anxiety thinking about what might happen next. I have days where I just think about doing other jobs like public health or insurance jobs.. I don't feel confident in doing straight caths/foleys or successfully doing IVs... then I realized there are nurses who ask for help even if theyve been working for awhile... I guess it does start to get better after a year or so and I'm hoping and praying that things will turn out for the both of us as time goes on....
  2. Congratulations! You deserve it!
  3. Thank you so much! And yes it definitely does!
  4. Hi! Don't be discouraged. It is the worse feeling ever but remember it's only temporary. Kaplan is not big on content. It's much more on strategy. Uworld definitely has a good portion of both so definitely look up into that. And the PDA book is very helpful. Those questions are passing level questions. Feel free to ask me any questions you have! Good luck & im sure you'll do great the next time. 265 questions meant you were REALLY close! It doesn't feel that way but it is the truth!
  5. If you would like to add Justine Buick, the nclex tutor, on Facebook... Please do so on this page The NCLEX Tutor Thank you!!!
  6. Dont be discouraged by your scores! I would occasionally score 40s even up until my NCLEX and I passed with 75 questions. You're doing the right thing by reading all of your rationales. That is what's most important!
  7. I wish you the best of luck!!
  8. I've tried both Kaplan and UWorld and Uworld definitely helps you understand why you got the question wrong and more. Once you keep doing the questions and reading the rationales you'll get used to answering the questions which is a good thing because Uworld is hard, much more similar to NCLEX than Kaplan. My main study source other than reviewing the Hurst book was Uworld and I passed my second time with 75 questions. When I studied Kaplan for my first attempt, I found it only helped me just a little. Go with Uworld!
  9. Thank you so much and of course! I hope it helps!
  10. The first time is such a blur to me. I don't think I had much strategy when approaching the questions. I forgot to mention, I seen an nclex tutor Justine Buick (you can find her on Facebook). She really helped me use different strategies in different types of questions & that really helped eliminate answers.
  11. Uworld is definitely very similar to NCLEX. I tried the Kaplan Q bank and Uworld is so much more detailed.
