  1. Thanks Morgan314. Lots of good stuff there! Ironically, I didn't get one question about the BRM... but I just heard that I did get the job! Thanks again! Ian
  2. Has anyone got any info [preferably on-line!] regarding the Boston Recovery Model for community psychiatric care? I've got a Case Management/CPN interview coming up with a healthcare provider that uses this model, but can't find much about it anywhere. Thought I'd better do some research to make sure I'm ready on the day... Can anyone help? Thanks ixb
  3. Thanks Gwenith. Still working/negotiating the visa/registration system, so didn't check the board for a while!
  4. I'm in a similar position, except for the fact that I'm married to an Aussie and living in the UK. In the process of applying for a visa now, with a view to moving permanently to Melbourne in January. I'm a RMN [Registered Mental Nurse] with 2 and a half years experience post-training [3 year diploma] in the UK. Currently working in older age MH, but not sure whether to stay in that area or move into "adult" [sic] MH. I'm unsure of whether to try to get a permanent post ASAP or to try an agency to get the "lie of the land" i.e. where to work, where NOT to work etc. If I was to stay in the UK I'd be looking in to becoming a CPN [Community Psychiatric Nurse] round about now, so that would be my ultimate ambition in Oz too. Managing a caseload of community based clients etc. although I may be better off initially being hospital based... [?] Anybody got any strong views on this or want to share their experiences/knowledge? You're welcome to PM me, but it may be better to post here in case others have similar questions to mine! Thanks!
