  3. Hi, I'm looking to start fulfilling my volunteer requirement in order to apply for UW in 2018. Does anyone have any recommendations for settings that allow you to interact in patient care as a volunteer? I really want a place that fosters interactions between nurses and volunteers and lets me get patient care experience. I'd love to find a great nurse mentor! Thanks, Julie
  4. Hi, I'm planning on starting my prereqs next quarter in the hopes of applying to UW in fall 2016. I have 2 and 5 year old boys and I'm worried about the course load. Are there any current/past ABSN students that could enlighten me? I can work all day in class/clinicals but I can't spend hours every night studying since I need to be a Mom too. Can anybody give me a sense of whether it's possible to stay on top of studying/homework mostly during the day? I'm trying to get this done while keeping a happy life balance! I appreciate any insights. Julie
