  1. What can I do to make myself more competitive for an ER RN position?

    My question is what can I do to make myself more competitive for an ER RN position? I have experience from the military as a Hospital Corpman 4.5 years. I have worked as a RN in a LTC for 3 months. I am about to start Medical Surgical unit at local hospital. I was thinking of enrolling in a EKG 12 lead course, ACLS, PALS, TNNC, and ENPC. Also finishing my BSN in fall 2015 which will be my second bachelors first is Bachelors in Business Administration. Any advice would be helpful. I know i need to network and get some experience but thinking would anything help me more. Thanks in advance.
