  1. I took professional aspects this past spring. You will get an A but the professor is very frustrating. She doesn't know how to communicate without making you feel like a burden to her or an idiot; she doesn't know how to work canvas; she will change assignment instructions at the last minute (minor changes but changes none the less) and she will tear your paper apart (you will still get an A, she wants APA but she seems to have a different version in her head). I didn't do head start, first semester is very doable but a lot of work. A lot of us had more anxiety with professional class at times compared to the other classes that are pretty tough and more important. Again you will get an A but will go a little bald dealing with the instructor.
  2. I'm currently in Tampa. Class of 2019 started with 82 or 84 total with 18 in Tampa. Orlando is the largest, probably close to 30'ish. South Florida class has mid 20's. Ocala only 4, West palm- smaller than Tampa site.
  3. You will find out till much later. End of summer/beginning of fall
  4. Current Barry SRNA at Tampa site. Good luck everyone, hope to see y'all next year
  5. Didn't get into ECU. I got into Barry Univeristy. Almost done with my first semester
  6. I ended up calling them, they sent it to the wrong address. They told me over the phone that I didn't get in.
  7. Has anyone heard anything yet?
  8. It doesn't count for anything. I saw my score during the interview. It was laying on my folder. I made a 45%. I probably missed 9 out of 10 chem question and missed 1 out of 10 clinical questions. Don't worry, congrats.
  9. My #1 is ECU, still waiting to hear there decision. Suppose to hear something next week
  10. What is the apartment situation like I'm Greenville? Are they fairly cheap? I have a family and would rather rent a large apartment or a house.
  11. My interview, in April, was less than 10mins and was nothing but personal questions. Don't worry about the interview. You have to take a test prior to the interview, the test has no barring on their decision. I thought the chem portion of the test was difficult. My only advice don't worry too much and enjoy the Florida beaches
  12. I hope so too, ECU is my number 1 program I applied to. It has a small class, excellent clinical site, a cadaver semester and it's cheap and Greenville is cheap.
  13. More personal questions
  14. It wasn't that bad, certainly been to worse interviews
  15. My interview was done yesterday
  16. I kinda think if we don't hear something in the next week or 2 we probably didn't get one
  17. To be honest I didn't prepare because I accepted a position at another school. I went to the interview bc I knew it was tough and wanted to prepare myself for my interview with my #1 school in a month. They do 2 30 min interviews. Each room has 4-5 people. The room with Richard from Greenville's campus was absolutely bone crushing. They gave me an abg: 7.31/49/28/-2 I told them what I thought the vent changes should be and then they ask what would I do if I couldn't change any vent setting. The had a list of drugs on the white board and told me to pick one out and explain but they wanted to know how it worked at the micro level and were asking me which receptor sites the drugs affects. I was asked about nitric oxide therapy because it was on my resume, I had used it a couple of times years ago, they wanted to know how it worked at the micro level. They asked some crazy ass question about crrt. I remember saying I don't know a lot. The other room questioned my c's from nursing school 10 years ago. Keep in mind my adn was in 2006 GPA 2.8, BSN 2014 GPA 3.5 I have had several interviews with other schools and this one was by far the absolute worst. They said 100 people apply, they interview about 60 people for 30 spots.
