Hey guys!! I'm so looking forward to our program to begin, orientation was overwhelming but got me all excited. Has anyone started a FB page for our class?

Yeah I guess they had a change in administrative staff and somehow skipped me. Luckily orientation day was where they explained everything that needs to be done for program. Anyways Sierras program is pretty amazing so as long as I'm in haha... I notified Delta on Friday, the day of the deadline and reconfirmed Monday.

Hey guys!! Just wanted to say that I dropped out, so one of you must get in, and I'm sure there would be more people dropping out. I was an alternate for Sierra and they forgot to notify me somehow and when I went to the orientation I found out I'm in, so I would say call/email and ask what's going on! Good luck!!!

I like how they published the packet today and we need to pay 100$ by tomorrow 4PM, very nice and considerate of their students, specially with the "timely manners" they demonstrated so far. I don't think that's a program I want to be part of, so one of you alternates will be lucky :) Anyway, I truly wish good luck to all the future nurses!!!

I'm in!! I am an alternate for Sierra, so if I get in there I will be giving my spot to someone else! Congrats everybody :)

Well they changed it, now it says the ranking will not be available until the 24th!

That sucks!! Sorry to hear that! I'm sure most of us here know how you feel! Well try and apply to as many colleges as you can. American River College and Sacramento City College have similar programs. American River College accept applications twice a year, so you could try in the fall. Also depending on how far you are willing to drive, there's Delta college in Stockton, and one more in Yuba City. Best of luck!!

Did you try Delta college?? It's a community college too and they go 90% merit and 10% lottery!

Yep, I am, but I can't wait one more year :/ I think I should get into Delta College since it goes by merit. But it's more than an hour drive for me so I am really hoping for Sierra, but if not I will have to drive.

From my experience they usually send those out the day after!

bpolis91 you just go to the website of the college where you took the class, search for college catalog. That page should contain current catalog and previous years. You choose the one from the year you took the course, look up the specific course in the catalog and print out that one page. College official catalog will have the college name and year on each page, and that is what they want to see! Best of luck :)))

Was invited to submit documentation today, and it said the deadline is 4/28, and the final ranking will be available around 5/23. Good luck to all of us!!

Hi fellas! From all the colleges I applied I feel that Sierra is the toughest waiting, because the rest of them have some online tools where you can check that your application is complete and qualified and wether you get in, but with Sierra there's absolutely no indication of anything. Is it really only around May 13th that we may or may not get an email?

Got additional 2 confirmation emails yesterday that were exactly the same as the one I got a few days after submitting the app.. why do they make me so excited to see an email for nothing )

In SCC mine hasn't changed from received eather, but I do miss that new SOC class they are requesting now. :/

Got my application qualified today 😆 Of course it's not surprise, since it's my second time around, but it still makes me happy :))

@JanelleRD Same here.. been to counselor today - waste of time! If you have an AA or other multicultural course (like history) they may consider it, but didn't work for me. I'm ineligible too, this is a joke.
