I liked PACU, ER, and NICU. Like I said I'm all over the place. I just want to get a good grasp on nursing and maybe work somewhere where I can get all the experience and use all my skills for a year or two, then specialize in something I really enjoy.
  2. I will be graduating in December 2015 and do not know exactly what direction I would like to take my career as a new RN. Where should I start out as a new nurse? What department would be best for me start at as a new nurse? Any advice for me regarding transitioning from a student to working as a nurse?
  3. patsylee @patsylee, We also took a similar test. Does it tell you what you need to work on? The test we took told us what we need to work on and how well we did on the other subjects. You were so close! Keep positive and don't freak yourself out. Talk to the other students in your class and ask them what they are doing to pass. You've got this!
  4. Thank you for the advice!!! I will definitely be getting the apps on my phone as well. Thank you again! etkRN2015
  5. Any advice or tips on how to study for the NCLEX? I've heard Kaplan is a great study tool, but I don't really want to spend that much money. Any other programs worth it, or should I just give in and spend the money on Kaplan?
