  1. Hey guys, so I just did a shift in L&D where a witnessed a C-section. I followed my patient to the recovery area, and while I was there did fundal assessments every 5 minutes for the first 30 minutes. So, I performed all these fundal assessments and the fundus was always firm, yet the nurse would massage the fundus anyway. Why? What is the rationale for massaging an already firm fundus? At the time it made sense, but now I'm trying to support this intervention, and it's not making sense to me.
