Hello all, So a little background story, for the first year in college I had no clear idea of what it was I wanted to study and make a career out of. Luckily in August I decided that id like to become a psych nurse for the veterans administration. I feel like this career path fits me well beacuse I myself am a veteran! Needless to say im really quite excited about this adventure. Even with all that excitement im clueless as where to start. Right now after 30 credits of easy courses and one biology course my gpa is at 3.6 and as I understand this is a fringe level gpa for nursing. With that in mind id expect it to go lower as the complexity of my courses increases. With all that said I want to take my pre reqs at a school where theres a high probability of acceptance. Im worried that moving around would create stress and become expensive. Im limited to public schools unfortunately. So with that in mind can you guys give me an idea of what schools accept more applicants with lighter gpa requirements probably in the 3.3-3.5 range. Something to consider I am a marine combat veteran im not sure if that has any weight. If schools weigh that type of experience please tell me which ones. I do appreciate the guidance
