  1. I am currently using UWorld as my study material for the NCLEX. My overall average for this is a 60%. Can anyone tell me if this is the range I should be in for the NCLEX? I absolutely love UWorld, so any of my UWorld people out there, a little advice? How do you like UWorld? What are you averaging? Is there anything else you are using to study? I would love some feedback. Thanks so much!
  2. I apologize for just getting back to you. It was a month long. I went every Wednesday and Thursday. I mean, despite making the drive, it was worth my time. I drove an hour each time I went. She uses the Saunders book for the course and also gives you a review book she made with all kinds of information in it. (labs, meds, etc) It was just an overall great course if that is something you are looking for. Some people actually few in from Texas to come to her review course. They flew in every week! Thats dedication. I for sure don't have that type of money to do that, but just shows you the type of class she has going on. I enjoyed it.
  3. I recently took a remedial course that was offered in Orlando, FL. I don't know how far you are willing to drive but this one was on point. It was Millers Nursing Review. Dr. Miller is incredible and she teaches you everything you need to know for the NCLEX. Not only is it good for review, but it was a great confidence booster. I failed my NCLEX twice. I honestly was so down on myself for not passing. She believed in me and went above and beyond to make sure I reached my goal. It is a little pricy. I paid around $950 I believe? It's an intense remedial course. I only paid for the class portion of it. You can also pay for clinicals if you failed the NCLEX 3 times. I was in your shoes. I wanted something that was worth my money, and Millers Nursing Review was more than I expected. Class to me was not boring. She kept it very interesting. She tells you all the tips and tricks to pass the NCLEX. So, just wanted to throw my experience out there. She had a wide variety of people that came into class. Some people that have failed the NCLEX more that 5 times and she will tell you first hand, that it doesn't matter. Don't give up. You will pass this hurdle. Doesn't matter how many times you take the test. You will be a great nurse regardless!
  4. Well, I did the PVT and it only says that my results are on hold. So I suppose it will be a waiting game now!
  5. Thanks you guys. I just finished my test. I got all 265 questions. It was a long test. Lots of priority questions, EKG, SATA....my last question was a SATA. I have no clue how I feel about it. I am nervous to try the PVT trick. As soon as I find out my results, I'll let everyone know!
  6. I've been studying for the NCLEX RN for about a month now. I've been using UWorld and Kaplan for practice questions. Reading every rational and taking notes (even taking notes to the ones I get correct). In total I think I have done about 3500 questions. I am testing on Oct. 5th. Over the past few days, I have seen my scores go from being really good to now down in the gutter! Is this a sign I should reschedule? Keep practicing questions? I feel like I am getting worked up about it. Has anyone had this problem??
  7. Thank you! I've heard nothing but good things about uworld. I like it so far because the rationals are great! Good luck on your retake! I will be taking mine at the end of this month.
  8. I am curious about these Mark Klimek audio lectures. Where can I find them? I've gone on the website and it doesn't say anything about them. Also, what is everyones opinions on uworld? I just got it and so far it seems pretty legit. How does it compare to NCLEX? Are they passing level questions?? Thanks you guys!

Congratulations on passing! :) I hope I get the same results when I test! I just purchased UWorld. The questions and rationales are great. I feel it challenges me a lot more. If you don't mind me asking, how were your scores? Mine are average and it makes me nervous!
  10. Has anyone tried using UWorld as a good study program? I tried the trial questions and it seemed pretty good. What are some opinions? Thank you!
