Thanks for the info sbgldneag. I'm sorry to hear about the less than satisfactory response from the school. Looking at the report, it looks like UTHSCSA is right at the cusp of reaching the Board's requirements. I don't have any doubts that the next cohort will make the requirement, maybe the school is confident as well so they don't feel the need to reassure students. (Not to minimize the stress you're going through sbgldneag, I'm just really confident it will be okay!)

I got in too!! Very excited to meet you all!!! Does anyone know if I can use the ATI books from a former nursing student?? It would save me quite a bit of money if we can do that.

I got an e-mail from the SoN Admissions letting me know that they were still waiting on my TEAS. RLfutreRN, I would e-mail or call them if you feel antsy about it. They seem to be very friendly and helpful compared to some of the other nursing schools I have been applying to. This waiting part is the worst. Hopefully the holidays will keep us preoccupied enough so we don't stress!

I don't take my TEAS until Dec. 1. I believe TEAS sends scores electronically, and as long as it was taken before the deadline you are good.
