  1. JustBeachy, My profile is private. Only friends can see. I'm just talking about employers because I know they have people go through Facebook accounts. I see absolutely nothing wrong with the photos at all, but people are judgemental so that was my concern. Ruby, thank you!
  2. So, I'll start off by saying that I'm a nursing student and a dancer (like ballet dancer). I've danced my whole life, and in the past two years I've taken up aerial silk and pole dancing (just as a "for fun" thing) in addition to the classics. What I'm looking for is thoughts on posting my pole dancing pictures on Facebook. I love putting my dance pictures up because it's a HUGE part of my life, and I'd really like to include the pole dancing pictures as well, but I'm concerned about future potential employers looking at them as a negative thing. They're nothing lewd ... I'm always in shorts and a tank top, and it's clear that I'm in my house when they're taken, but I'm just not sure. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
  3. Thank you very much! I still have a while to go, but I'm always thinking ahead. Plus I'm a worrier. Haha. I hope they offer a class like that because it would certainly be helpful.
  4. So, I'm sure there are plenty of questions like this, but I'm looking for some advice on what experiences will look good for me when I start looking for my first nursing job. I have been a personal care attendant for people with special needs for 10 years, so I'm hoping that will work in my favor. Recently, I've been thinking of volunteering at the children's hospital I hope to work at when I'm an RN ... What do you think? Any friendly advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!! 5. I've been a strict vegetarian for 6 years [emoji4]. I always feel guilty about not going vegan ... But I just really love cheese ... Vegetarianism isn't particularly restrictive either because if you have to you just order pasta, salad, etc. without meat. Fun question! Good luck with school [emoji4].
