  1. Today I was called into my work at a nursing home. They claimed that another aide, had came and reported that I had pinched a patient. The patient is a combative and has dementia. I came in and gave my statement to my employers. I explained to them, that I did not intentionally pinch him, but held onto his wrists and removed him off of me. That I was holding onto his arms. But, now I am worried because I am a nursing student, and I do not want this to effect my college. What can I do to get through this situation? Can I be charged for abuse, although I have never had any other problems other than this situation? Should I hire a lawyer? I am only 20, and I don't not want my future ruined because of this.
