  1. When I started my program in Texas I did finger printing, back ground check, etc. through the Texas BON. I am clear apply to take my exam through TX BON right now, but then I would have to transfer my license by endorsement. I am not sure how long the endorsement process takes. To apply for licence by exam in MI I would still have to send my fingerprints background check, plus I would have to send a hard copy of my transcripts directly to the MI BON, before I could even apply for licence by exam through MI. (So I couldn't apply until after I graduated) But I wouldn't have to transfer my license by endorsement. I was hoping to find someone who had been in a similar situation, and would be able to tell me which route may take less time.
  2. Thank you, about how long did it take for you to meet the requirements to take the test in another state? I am already qualified to apply and take the test in TX, but I have to get fingerprints and background through MI....
  3. Thank you. I clarified in my initial post that I intend to apply for the NCLEX in the state that I 'take' my test.
  4. Hello, Not really sure if this was the right place to post. I am graduating in December. Immediately after graduation I am moving from Texas to Michigan. Should I apply take my NCLEX here in TX and transfer to MI, or should I just register to take it in MI? There is a lot of information on the websites and I'm having a hard time determining which would take less time. Thank you, Sara
