Hi! For those that got interviews, can you tell me when you submitted your applications?

Hi all! Just passed my CCRN recently and I plan to get my CMC certification next. I plan to use my PASS test questions to prepare. In reviewing the CMC Handbook provided by AACN, I see that there are noncardiovascular topics in their test plan. I was curious to know if this is accurate or if it's the same test plan that was used for the CCRN. For thosoe that took the CMC, were there noncardio questions on your exam? Also how did you prepare for the exam?

Between USC CT Tele and Cedars Pulmonary/GI MedSurge (to be converted to a PCU later this year), which would best prepare me to become an ICU nurse?

I also called HR to see how I could update my application regarding my completion of my senior preceptorship, but I was told there was no way to do this.

I received an email confirmation from Helga that she received my signed SIRPAF. I called yesterday to ask when we would see a status change on our CSUN portal and Helga informed me that they are waiting to finalize the roster still and that it should take a few more days. I didn't ask about the preclinical checklist. I, too, would be interested in a FB group page!

Hi! I just received an email with more information regarding our clearance items. In the email, I was advised to go to the following website to obtain more information: https://www.csusm.edu/el/programs/health-medical/bsnursingaccelerated/absnadmittedstudentinfo.html. When I click the hyperlink "guide", it redirects me to another page instead of allowing me to view a PDF. Is anyone else having this issue? If not, would you be able to email me the PDF file please? ?

Can anyone link me the Facebook group's page? When I search for "CSUSM ABSN Cohort 36", it doesn't come up for me.

I've submitted my intent to register and accepted a notice of financial responsibility, but I haven't receive any additional information on orientation. I know we have to get a background check and drug testing but I haven't received additional information on that either.

I was admitted as well! So excited! Congratulations to the others who also were admitted! I would like to join the Facebook group as well.

I'm getting anxious waiting too. I'm wondering if they'll cancel the interview process since it'd be so late. My evaluation score is 44. I hope that's good enough. What did you get?

@.Chelsey You got it! They haven't responded just yet, but I'll try calling in a little bit. I hope this one non-science prerequisite isn't going to hold us back on applying!

Hi @Nina85! Thanks for responding to my post. I was reading the FAQs regarding the expiration of prereqs and I'm worried that in the example given, my Spring 2009 classes would still be expired. In their example, if you intend to apply for the Spring 2020 cohort, the earliest science prereq they will take is Summer 2014. This would mean that the earliest non-science prereq would be Summer 2009, which is just after my Spring 2009 prereq. Sucks that they just added this. If other people are facing a similar issue, I'll be sure to circle back once they respond to my inquiry.

Hi everyone! Looks like the application is open! I wanted to see if anyone else was in a similar situation as me. I took my communications class back in Spring of 2009. I see on the Application Information PDF that all non-science prerequisite courses expire within 10 years. It's a shame that this communications class would be the only thing holding me back. I've already completed all other non-science and natural science prerequisites. Is anyone else having to renew their prerequisites? Do you know if they will let me take this class and still apply for Spring 2020. I sent them an email, so hopefully I'll hear back from them soon.
