  1. Great!!!!!Personally, I'm pulling for Astros, living in Austin and all. It took me 175 but I passed and it counts anyway. Good for you. Congratulations
  2. Best wishes on the exam. I went the "other route" and didn't prepare much at all. Just memorized my own lab values for normals and read up on how to answer questions. I'd made good grades in a good program and everyone assumed I'd sail through the NCLEX. Wrong! It didn't shut off at 75 questions and I panicked. I could hardly read the words on the screen. It was just miserable. So I figured "At least I didnt fail yet or it wouldn't still be asking me." The machine went on for 175 questions. I was absolutely certain I'd failed, since I had to just guess on too many questions. Beat myself up all the way home (2 hours) and for the next two days. It was SOOOOO worth the $7.95 to see my score. I passed! With 170 questions. I sure wish you the best. Go get 'em!
  3. I had to answer 170 questions before the test quit. I had made 993 on HESI and am one of the better students in a top 10 program. So I figured I'd sit down, answer 75 questions, and be done. So I just panicked. I do think I answered the last question correctly, but basically spent the whole test guessing between two answers. Ten percent of the questions were about herbs, which I never studied. Anyone else have or know of this experience? Thanks
