I am just curious working in New York how much is taken out from the paycheck every 2 weeks (80 hours) pay cycle? Right now I work in NJ, my 80 hours paycheck is $2800 - $560 (Fed,state taxes etc) so my net pay is $2240 About less 20% Appreciate some input from you guys! Thanks in advance

Hi all, Right now I have a MD RN license. I want to get a CA license by endorsement. I went through the CA BON website. According to the site that if I want to go through "Live Scan FP" its available in CA. I would like to know if I can go to the Local FBI office and get a Live Scan FP here in MD?

Ok guys its official got my result from BON via mail. I passed!! Thanks you all for your support and advice. 265 is tough! Drained me! Guys I will pray for you. Its a miracle that I passed.God has been good and heard my prayer(begging) to pass. Keep your faith.

I think I passed the Nclex@265,still waiting for the official notification from BON. Got my info from the "Licensee Lookup" found my name complete w/license#. It seems to be the new norm of "passing" @ 75 & 265. Just my personal input. Took me 5 hours:smackingf to finish. Was the last person out. Anyway, I prayed hard,everyday at exactly 3PM after the exam. I hope that will help calm your nerves.

Thanks Suzanne4, coming from you means a lot. I was confused at first. I thought MBON post everybody's name on the website. But upon reading it more closely, it is really an active license complete w/license number & expiration date of 9/08, it was posted the day right after my exam. I took Nclex on 7/18 by 7/19 it was already on the MBON website. That's why I'm kinda leery at first. But after reassurance from you guys I thank God for answering my prayer. It took me the whole 265 questions for 5 hrs. The first 80-100 I was confident but it keeps going and going and going that's where I really start to pray.(I know the machine is having a hard time determining my ability) That's where I start to lose my confidence. Appreciate the people here in this forum for giving me the psychological support and answering my questions. Thank you!

Yep what I did is, use the license verification of the local BON.No need to pay because this is a public record lookup for license verification use by hospitals and institutions. Actually I didn't expect to see my name coz I just took the exam last wed july 18. I was just playing around.My result suppose to come in 5 days so I'm still waiting. But I'm glad they did my license first.

Oh Thank you Lord and also to you guys! My daily prayers was answered. What I don't understand is: isn't Maryland is a member of the compact state. How come on my license (That's sounds good! It indicated "Maryland Only" so does that mean I can't practice in the other member state?

I just check Maryland BON under "License Verification" was surprised to find my name and a license# (starting w/a "R") w/an expiration date of 2008. Does it mean I passed the Nclex? or is it Maryland BON puts every Nclex candidate name on the list pending the result? I took the nclex last wed (July 18) result letter should be in 5-7 days. I'm so nervous I don't want to use the Pearson Vue quick check.Anyway its just a few days away. Appreciate if any Maryland RN can verify this.

Thanks guys, coz all my friends Nclex shut off at 75, 80 and 150. They all pass! Seems to be I'm the only person who won the Nclex Lotto of 265. Oh well. I hope God can grant us our wish of passing. Thanks again for the kind words.

Hi Guys, Took Nclex went all the way to 265 questions. On my first 80 questions I feel confident but as it chug along all the way to 150 I know I'm in trouble:o I have two computations, 5 all that apply and lotsa priority and psycho. I notice some questions seems to be a repeat of the earlier questions. Does that mean I got it wrong the first time that's why its asking me again? What are the percentage of passing for people going all the way 265 VS @75-80 questions shut off? It sure doesn't look good.
