Hello, I applied for DNP FNP 4 year track, this is what my timeline looks like; 1/1 submitted application 1/20 NursingCAS application was verified 2/23 I received an email for an interview 2/26 interview is scheduled Very excited to interview, wishing everyone luck!

Yikes!!! Idk how you hung in for 265 questions!!!! Thank goodness I only had 75 and passed. I thought the test was super hard and I felt like I knew the answer without a doubt for maybe 15 questions everything else was a guessing game! Hope you pass!!

I used both Kaplan and Uworld. I absolutely disliked Kaplan! I only did one 180 question test with Kaplan. I used Uworld and did 1620 questions and passed in 75 questions on my Nclex. Uworld looks just like the nclex (you will see) and made me relax when I began the official test. Many people said to read the rationales of all the questions but I only read the rationales of the stuff I got wrong. I would 1000% recommend Uworld. Keep your head up I know lots of people who didn’t pass the first time. Some people are *** test takers. Unfortunately you have to pay the $200 again but buy Uworld and you will pass this time. You can do Uworld on your computer, tablet or phone. When I couldn’t sleep at night I would just make a quiz of 25 questions and roll through them and suspend the test if I started to fall asleep. You got this girl!! (Also my Kaplan book says money back guarantee if I didn’t pass?? Maybe look into that if you bought Kaplan stuff??) fingers crossed for you future nurse!!

Too bad for the people who chose SDSU. Cal State Long Beach is actually the #1 program in the state! (Yep believe it, for our size and NCLEX pass rate, check the state website if you really need extra proof) I'm a (soon to be) 3rd semester student at CSULB SON. When you register for your classes post your instructor here and if I had them I can (respectfully) give you my opinions of what to expect and what can help make you most successful. Congrats & be prepared for A LOT of work. (I know you've heard that haha but you just don't really know how nuts it is until you're in the thick of everything) xx

Does anyone still have "Official Transcript" still listed on their to-do list? I sent mine to the school priority on Oct 30, it arrived the 2nd. They still haven't cleared it and admissions people I talked to were very unhelpful (same canned responses instead of actually looking into it). Also now my financial aid is gone? Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Mine was only loans too. My EFC is higher than yours (for now until I do my taxes) I'm not sure why the pell isn't on there but I am not too worried about it just yet. My fascia reflected a pell award

just activated mine this am too. I also got the waiver (thank you baby Jesus). Spoke with financial aid, our financial pacakages will not be available until mid Nov. (UGH the exact thing I needed to see). HURRY.UP.AND.WAIT.

Technical support said we need to wait 24 hours to be able to activate our My CSULB. Which is why mine didn't work

This is the site CSULB Enrollment Services to check the college acceptance. You need your Beach ID,your DOB and access to your email on file. I have been checking every day and I get the same generic email "thank you for interest, application is pending blah blah blah"

Oh and "rankings" aren't given out anymore because fall 2016 cohort made such a fuss about them. You may be able to call after acceptance goes out to see where you are on the wait list though.

I called! Monalisa is the sweetest lady ever. So patient with us. My application is still pending per the website. What a waiting game!

No I am from CA :) I have a nurse practitioner who has been a mentor for me. She encouraged me to apply in the south for more opportunities job wise. That's what she did
