Thanks for the reply and idea on the insurance job. They are going to place screws and plate since the cartledge is gone from walking on it when it was supposed to be healed. It's going to fuse so walking is going to be a problem for some time. Thanks again

I have been a RN for past 7 years working first in a county jail for 3 years, then long-term care as floor nurse for 2 years and for past 2 years as a RCM at long-term care. I now find myself suffering with a broken ankle for past 8 months that never healed right and now I must have surgery to fix it. In short my floor nursing\standing\walking days are over. I have taken a medical retirement through SSI. I would like to continue working as a RN on a part time basis. I would prefer a work from home position but really have no idea what to look for or where to look. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
