  1. I agree with you, just wanted to make sure I had the right mindset. I wasn't quite sure why an experienced RN would suggest otherwise!
  2. My mother has been an RN for 30 years and a DON in NJ for about 20. I am entering an accelerated BSN program in May that will allow me the option of automatically matriculating into the master's program upon completion. My mother is insisting that I continue straight through school rather than taking time off to work, as she says there will be limited hospital positions in Philadelphia open to a brand new RN (in peds). We have had a few discussions about this...and I wanted to hear other opinions as well. I have also heard from other nurses in my life that it is very frowned upon to come in as an inexperienced NP. Thoughts?
  3. The very last part of my application on NursingCAS (transcripts) got processed on 9/10, I received notification from Jefferson that it was complete on 9/14, and then got the notice for the interview on 9/25
  4. I just got invited to the interview! October 27th...very nervous and excited! Wishing everyone good luck and a speedy verification with NursingCAS
