  1. I am a 46 year old LVN in Texas. I am trying to take a few class to become a RN. But I have some physical health problems. I can not keep pounding the floor for 12 hours. I work in a small rural hospital at night. WE just have 4 nurses on at night. We work ER,b and medical all in any one nifgt. What I am wondering is what can I do as a RN that is less labor intenstive. Do you have any suggestion? Thank you !! Debby:balloons:
  2. Hi! I work in a small rural hospital in the Texas Panhandle. We have a level 4 trauma rating. I work the night shift with 4 to 5 of us on at night. We work all over the hospital from ob to er to med-surg. I would like to hear from others about their pay scale. We are out patients first line of care but our pay does not reflect this. We are providing quality care but are not recieving the pay that would reflect that fact. Can some of you in this same position share with us?
