Starting a thread for USC 2027!

For anyone waiting to hear back from the waitlist, our second payment is due in November, so I feel like if people don't make that second payment to go to another program, they'll probably go through the waitlist around then. and in the FB page right now, there are 32 members. I believe they said the cohort is ~40.

I didn't apply last years cycle but asking coworkers and friends, they told me that around 3rd week of August, everyone got an email. Either an invitation to interview or a rejection email. SO it seems like they're very efficient and doesn't hold you around, just waiting for an update.

On the phone she said next week aka this week so hopefully soon. But yeah I know I got the call but I'm still like can I get it in writing please... haha

The current students who gave us a tour after told us they call. So keep your phone on and look for area code 215. I sent them an email but didn't get a response back either.. I keep checking to see admission portal to see if anything's changed but nope.. if anyone gets a call, please post here, thank you!!

all the interviews are done. Congrats everyone. Now we wait about a week and will find out. Good luck to us all, no matter what the journey looks like, we WILL be a CRNA :)

Hey congrats to those who interviewed this week! If anyone is willing to share what the dynamic of the group interview was like, like do you still get individual questions or is there a group team work type portion? and if they shared any other info, like how big the cohort will be, etc we would so greatly appreciate it!

Yes! At least from reading last year's page (UPenn CRNA 2026) I think they were sending out invites until May!? Until you get a declination email, you're still being considered. Also looking at interview sign up slots, there are still 9 slots available, with each slot having upto 3 people who can sign up. It doesn't show me how many people have signed up for those remaining slots but definitely not filled up completely also dates left are: 3/16, 3/19, 5/4

It looks like last year they waited until about a week after the last interview date, 5/4th, and even invited more people until the last interview date and released acceptance all at once in May

I got an interview ? congrats to everyone who's heard back! Can't wait to go on this journey with you all!! Does anyone know from past experiences or friends who have interviewed, what to expect? A lot of EQ or more clinical questions? Etc

I didn't make the early deadline..to those who already got invites for interviews, can share how many they interviewed from the early deadline? Considering applying to make the deadline but I'm now thinking will they even see that many more from the regular deadline pool. If anyone has any insights

Same, it seems like they aren't giving any rejections or extra invites until the very end. But I feel like they'll probably invite a small handful if any, as interviews are held end of February and I know the people who were invited had a deadline to respond back by. And by their wording of "still actively reviewing apps...but final decisions will be made early March" sounds like they have to send the extra invites by next week. So one more week and even if we don't hear back, we'll know.

Just a reminder: all app materials like your two letters need to be in by Feb 15! If your letters are not in yet, they won't be considered as complete. I finally got my two letters in so thought I would remind you guys ❤️
