  1. I don't use Purell outside of the hospital. You're right though, could be dry air.
  2. Hi guys- Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem as I have. I am a nursing student and every time I am on the floor my throat, ears, and head hurts. I know I'm always tired on clinical days so it could be part of it but I always feel better once I'm off. I worked on a certain unit where I did not have this problem and the hand sanitizer there was less smelly and it was foam vs gel. I'm back on a unit with the standard purell stuff and I'm kind of convinced that the hand sanitizer is super irritating to my throat, etc. Has anyone had a similar problem? I know it sounds strange but I just don't have any other way to explain it.
  3. I got into an accelerated BSN program that starts in one month. I have bad credit and a lot of student debt from my first bachelors. I am being denied private student loans even with a great cosigner. I already took out my max amount of stafford loans in my undergrad. Has as anyone else been in this situation? Did you find a way out?? thank you
  4. Hi! I have a question that I'm pretty confused about. I am applying to DEMSN programs. While some schools have the option to specialize, not all schools have this option for the direct entry program. I want to ultimately be an FNP. Patient care is what I want to do. If I get a generalist MSN will I be able to do patient care including diagnose and prescribe? Is there something more I have to do after the degree? Thank you for any help or resources you have.
