  1. I think it's worth the investment. It is expensive but I love Keiser and the way they are always helpful with whatever you need. The schedule is Mon-Fri. I'm not sure the times but I know for pre-reqs it was 8-2 Mon-Fri. I used the Teas V book by ATI. I would strongly suggest to go to the library and get as many books on nursing entrance exam as possible too. It takes about a month to study for . Best of luck to you!!
  2. Hello! I go there. I love Keiser. I start my core this may but have been done with everything for a while now. So you have to have your pre reqs done, take the TEAS and get a a 75 % in math, 75% in reading, 76% in English and a 56% in science. Than you do your interview. It's Mon-Fri . 16 months long. Where are you at now?
  3. They are all in one room. It's very annoying and sometimes unsafe when you more than one getting out of bed at the same time.
  4. Hello! So.... You won't be at the bottom of the list. When I started as a PCT, I only had a CNA with no prior experience in healthcare at all. A PCT position is really no different from a CNA other than some hospitals have the PCTs draw blood and do EKGs. Your hair should be fine. Just dress professionally. Good luck!!
  5. As a patient sitter, how many people do they have you sit with at once? At my hospital it's 4 pts and one tech. It's not always bad but it does make it extremely frustrating when you have more than one pt at a time getting up out of bed. Keeping your eyes on all 4 at once sometimes seems impossible. TIA
  6. You need to explain to him how important it is for you to sleep. Even if you pushed buttons all night or was a over night shelf stocker, you'd need your sleep .
  7. Jupiter medical is very nice. Not sure on the pay but I know for new grads this area it's about 21-23 an hr. Good luck with the move!
  8. Yeah as long as you re take a&p 1 you'll be okay.
  9. I'm not transferring. I was thinking about it because it's only like 6 months more for a BSN. Really? What campus did you talk to? The only classes I know you have to have a B or higher in is a&p 1&2 and micro.
  10. Hello! I'm hoping to transfer and apply for April as well. Can you tell me what the pre reqs at South are? I'm transferring in from Keiser. Thanks! And good luck!!!
  11. If you don't mind me asking how is South University? I am thinking about applying here. I go to Keiser currently and am running into problems. I would like to know what your schedule was like ? Are they fully accredited? Also is it hard to get into the BSN program there? I've already taken my teas and scored proficient. Thanks in advance!
  12. Hello! I am thinking about transferring from Keiser to South University in West Palm Beach. I just wondered if anyone has gone here and what your take on the school is? Also what are your classes like and schedule? I'm really nervous about transferring because some online reviews were not the best. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!
