  1. I am almost done with CSUSM it has been very difficult for me but I got it done. I am unsure if I would recommend though, it was doable since I'm doing it but it is more time consuming than I thought it would/should be. There are weekly discussions, quizzes, group work, individual projects per class. For a leadership course you have to volunteer 40 hours in 8 weeks (the difficult part is that you have to locate your own site). There is a community course that you have to teach a community center (again you have to find a site yourself), four different public health topics in 8 weeks. On top of that you still have quizzes, discussions, group projects and projects to do. Grading is the only thing that is fair but you must do everything on time and follow the grading rubric. Hope that helps. -Eri
  2. Hello, I am almost done with CSUSM it is affordable, but a bit unorganized. I thought it was 100% online but you do have a leadership course that you have to volunteer 40 hours in 8 week period with a nurse manager. They did not provide a site you have to locate your own site which was difficult because most places required a contract with the school. My place of employment helped me establish a contract but it took 6 weeks so I had 2 weeks to complete the 40 hours. For the community course you have to do 4 community teaching project were you once again have to find your own community base site to teach 4 different topics in 8 weeks. The workload is heavy, lots of reading, posting discussions, quizzes, and group work. There is a lot of outside website utilization which made it more time consuming. Grading was fair but it was definitely difficult to work full time, have a family and take this online program. At this time I am unsure if I would recommend this program. I am just very happy to be do with it soon. -Eri
  3. Hello, I am currently enrolled in the program. It is new, fast past, and there has been lots of kinks they have been attempting to work out. With the improvements they have been making I would recommend the program.
