    When I worked in PACU, we had to be at work within 45 min of getting called in. They gave us more time because it was policy to call us in as soon as the patient got to the OR. I am sure the policy varies by each hospital though.
  2. Haha, we had a patient hear us say we had to go get the COW out of bed 10 and assumed we were talking about another pt and complained. So we had to change ours to "TLCs"...I can't even remember what it stands for, lol!

  4. Hello all! I am interested in travel nursing and was curious how obtaining a license for the state you are assigned to happens. Would it be all my responsibility or would the agency handle most of it? Also, any other helpful information would be great, like best travel nurse agencies and what a normal compensation package looks like. Thanks!!
