  1. You got that right! All us moms love and adore our children but this is a commitment for the next couple of years that everyone of us have to make sacrifices for! Good luck to you! You're hands are full and you'll still graduate a rock star!
  2. That's a great idea to record the lectures! Thank you í ½í¸Š
  3. Thank you! I have found info on being in your second semester is a good foot in for a per diem in a hospital which I may consider.
  4. Thank you... As a parent we never know what life throws our way but we always accommodate
  5. Everything at our own pace right?! With the right attitude, determination, and maybe a little patience we can do anything!
  6. This is amazing! Thank you!! And you're absolutely right... Moms are pretty bad ass! Getting into the program was an awesome accomplishment as well! Kept my GPA high and had to take the entrance exam (which not all schools make you do) and I cried when I found out I made it in! I worked so hard for that and I will work just as hard for the next 4 semesters... school mom and wife in that order just simply because they will sacrifice while I complete school but again no one is deprived. We have an amazing family network of support and I'll be missing out on some stuff but they know it's all worth it. Good luck to you and congrats on all your hard work! Working, having babies, school... Wow. A
  7. Great! Best of luck!
  8. I'm attending a SUNY community college in Western NY
  9. Thank you! I have thought about getting CNA certified and using this experience for school as well as good background for a job in the future although I'm hearing school nursing and career nursing is very different. I'm going to take one step at a time and see where the path takes me. Thank you and good luck!
  10. Yes we can! I am very organized and have used this method during my previous year in school! One semester at a time, one assignment and one exam at a time too. Thank you for the advice and good luck to you!
  11. That's great! I guess we can accomplish anything we set our hearts and mind on! Good luck to you!
  12. Let me clarify... My family is always first... But I definitely have to shut off and turn down certain things to stay organized and focused on my school success. This is a major priority for my future. So, for the next couple years, priorities are shifted but No one is deprived! I promise:) kids are loved and given attention... Husband is also. Thanks for your comments. I will definitely remember to stay positive and believe I can get through it even when times are tough. As I expect they will be. I'm looking for motivation and the belief that as crazy as life is, I can do this! I got this! Just need some support from fellow moms, nurses, wives... onon2rn, I am happy you've persevered this far since you've had to deal with stresses outside of school! Keep it up! And thank you for your comments. And yes, My husband is my best friend and without him this would be a much more difficult journey. A
  13. Okay I can work with that... Thank you!
