Hi there, I'm currently a senior in undergrad and recently decided to purse a 2nd-degree BSN after I graduate. My current degree is in the humanities and I know that virtually all ABSN/2nd-degree BSN programs require a hefty load of science prerequisite courses. Would anyone happen to know of any 2nd-degree BSN programs that are more flexible (i.e. allow you to complete some of the prerequisite courses after beginning the program), or that provide in-house pre-req options? I stumbled across this from the University of Cincinnati, but can't seem to find many other programs like it: https://nursing.uc.edu/academic_programs/accelerated_programs.html Essentially, I'm trying to figure out whether I'll be able to apply to a BSN program this year if at all possible, or if I'll have to wait a year and do the pre-reqs at a community college (as all my undergrad classes this year have to be within my humanities major). Thank you! EDIT: A second question--has anyone taken nursing pre-requisites online (for ABSNs that don't require pre-req labs)?
