  1. I think BSN is the way to go. It is expensive, but you do have a college degree. Get in contact with your local hospital and see if they will "sponser you." They will help pay your tuiton and you promise to work for them after you graduate. Here in Kansas, some hospitals will pay up to $5,000!
  2. I live in a town in Kansas with approx 20,000 people. I have been told that new grads start at $14.43 plus diff. It may be a little more in the bigger cites (Wichita, Kansas City, etc)
  3. Months and months of being seen by numerous doctors I was finally diagnosed with Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. I haven't had many episodes, but when I do there pretty scary. When I have an episode I always do the valsalva maneuver. This consists of holding the breath and straining or coughing while sitting with the upper body bent forward. Splashing ice water on the face has been reported by some people as helpful. Avoid excessive alcohol, smoking, and caffenine. There are a lot more things you can do...but these are just the basics. Do a search on the web there is ton's of info about it! Hope this helps
  4. I would take the name of that book and do a search under www.yahoo.com. That should probably work for you. Good luck
  5. I was wondering if there is such a thing? My OB clinicals start next week and I have to make med cards for almost every kind of drug a women might be on. I thought a drug book that just focused on OB would help a lot! Any ideas???
