  1. Right now i am working towards getting my GED(HISET) so I can get into nursing school. I am going to get my BSN. I want to become a CRNA after i work one year in the ICU. I live in Missouri. when i pull up Missouri State College where i am at. it shows this below. I was going to do the BSN to DNAP -3 years. So i am wondering if that would count or if i have to go to a BSN-DNP then get my DNAP? I am hoping to get into college this next January. On January 1, 2022 and following, all students matriculating into an accredited program must be enrolled in a doctoral program.
  2. thank you everyone. i am just going to go to cox for my BSN then. They said it would be 43k for it and they do offer the credit classes i need to get into the BSN and that is with the 43k. I thought the dual program would of been good thinking 2 degrees for the price of one and thinking th HS one with help but seeing what you all said it would not. so it would be worthless for me to drive 2 hrs one way for that school when i can drive 40 mins to this one for the same thing. and not drive 2 hrs for 2 different schools.
  3. Next year I am thinking about doing a dual health program .BS in Health Science from Drury and a BSN from Cox College simultaneously. I got told that it would take 4 years to do both at the same time. it would cost flat tuition rate of $10,950/academic year. tuition will be split between the fall and spring semesters ($5,475/semester), and will have summer coursework, will not be charged for tuition. Textbooks and supplies (scrubs, sim kits, etc.) are not included in that total. 1. I am wondering what a BS in Health Science is used for? 2. How it would help my Nursing career? 3.would it help me find jobs more and have better pay having both? 4. is it worth it having both? 5. any other info if anyone has on having both of these together would be great.
  4. I am wanting to go to Cox next fall for a BSN to get my RN. I have no nurse type degree and i Know most schools want you to have LPN first and by what i was reading you dont have too. does anyone know the tuition? I live in Branson. Also i heard that i would have to go through Drury to get a Associates of Science in General Studies to get into a BSN. If thats the case would the Associates of Science in General Studies take 2 years then the BSN 4? and if i did classes during the summer that would lower it right?Has anyone did Drury also for this if you had to for Cox and if i did it online would have to go to the college to take tests? I think id have more fun and learn better go to the college though for the Associates of Science in General Studies if it is needed from Drury for Cox. I am doing my HS right now online and hoping i can finish by spring to enroll for fall. It is heard and when i dont get something i have to look up it or ask in student forums. Any info though would be so helpful.
