  1. Also, do you know of any weekend-only tech jobs? I am experienced in ICU and most units in a hospital except for surgical and OB/Mother-n-baby etc. Also, congratulations on your MENP graduation and experience in critical care! I currently am a hemodialysis tech working 4:30pm to close (around 10pm). Do you think that is conducive to the program?
  2. Thank you so much for the information! That was quite helpful. I already replied to the Oncology Manager to let her know it wouldn't work out. I'm sure she's grateful that I didn't waste her time or mine... Did you ever hear about NurseCorp scholarship? Do you know anyone that is on it? It's a federal scholarship for those seeking Master's degrees in Nursing that pays a stipend as well. It's usually for low-income students like myself...
  3. Hello All! My name is Tom. I've recently been accepted to DePaul University's MENP program, Rosalind Franklin Campus cohort, for the winter quarter... I'm in a bind. I would like to know if anyone in "all nurses" land graduated or is currently in the program. My dilemma is that I need to work and go to school since I have a family and am a career changer...I have a very strong potential to get a Tech job at night in Rush's bone marrow transplant unit. The hours would be from 11pm to 7:30am, varied days. I don't want to upset this manager if I would ask for too many nights off or exceptions for school reasons. Does anyone know what time MENP classes usually start and whether there are clinical rotation options that don't need to start so gosh darn early in the am? Any info you can provide would be great... Thanks!
