LSU 2020 fall hopefuls
Hi I was wondering if anyone else on here has applied for LSU this fall! I am extremely nervous to hear if I got in or not. I still have to take microbiology this spring and I hope this doesn’t hurt my chances. I did the pre-requisite gpa calculator on their website and got a 3.4. I also got an 88 on the HESI. I’m also nervous because my overall gpa with my other classes is a 2.8. I really hope I get in though I don’t know what else I would do if I didn’t.

pre-nursing student soon to be military spouse
He was just stationed at Camp Pendleton this summer. I was thinking of starting at the community college out there when the summer comes. I will also go check out the California nurses! Thank you!

pre-nursing student soon to be military spouse
Next semester I will be a sophomore in college and I'm currently trying to tackle my prerequisites for nursing. I've been with my fiance for a year and a half now and this month we are getting married while he is on leave. I have decided to stay one more semester in New Orleans before I move with him to California to get some extra classes out the way before I leave for good. I am so confused because I don't know what to do once I get to California. I don't know what school to go to out there or if they will accept my credits once I get to Oceanside. I've looked into National University so far for next fall semester and Miracosta college for the summer and maybe even next fall. I'm just hoping my credits transfer over and I will actually be able to get my BSN while being a military spouse. I'm so afraid and I don't even know if what I said makes sense, but if anybody is in or has been in my shoes I would love some advice. I just don't want to regret my decision of getting married because I do want to be with him I just hate that I have to change my lifestyle and I'm hoping I won't have to take another route to become a nurse or even quit school at all.

need help on how to become neonatal nurse practitioner
Ok I really need some help. I'm a junior in high school and since the 7th grade i have wanted to become a nnp. I want to work in Louisiana but what if something happens and i would move to Texas, how would i still work? Also in college i know they say i have to become an rn, so do i get my bsn and will there just be classes for the neonatal special? Or will i just be an rn and just try to get a job in a NICU or a nursery. Like where would i work so that i will now be a neonatal nurse. Okay so now will i be working in whichever place you suggest for about 2-3 years? And when do I get my neonatal resuscitation certificate? Am I supposed to get it as soon as i graduate? Also when i get to go get my masters degree and graduate would you be able to explain the typical hours i would be working on as a nnp. Thanks to whoever can answer all the questions because they would be really helpful!
