  1. Update: I found out I passed! I looked my name up on the NYS BON site and my name popped up about an hour ago. I'd been checking and I heard NYS posts it in about 48 hrs but wow, mine was 48 hrs on the dot! Surreal. I was so confident I'd failed. I haven't gotten my official results in the mail yet of course but unless someone else with my exact name (which is a pretty rare name) tested recently, it must be me right? Thanks for all the replies and to people taking the NCLEX - study your hardest and give it your all because it's hard, and probably 5% of what you will study might be on it, so give it a great effort! And even if you're 100000% confident you failed afterwards like I was and completely guessed through the exam - don't lose your cool until you've officially gotten your results! Otherwise it's not worth it (I held it together the day of the exam and had fun with friends but last night, I sobbed haha.) Thanks again!
  2. Sorry this is going to sound so all over the place but I just took my NCLEX and literally half of it was SATA - I'm freaking out, absolutely freaking out I did well in nursing school and graduated in May and I got a 99% predicted chance of passing on my first try on the ATI exit comp But I didn't know anything on this test! Half of it was OB and I knew my med surg but I hardly got a chance to prove it I was praying during the exam it wouldn't shut off at 75, I wanted a chance to prove that I knew my material but it did and my heart absolutely sank There wasn't even much pharm I'm so sad. It's been less than a half hour since I took it. I guess what I wish to ask is, is the rumor that if you get more SATA, the better you are doing? Is it just that - an unfounded rumor? And what about the one about if you get your last question wrong, you failed? I believe my last question was wrong I was in the elevator exiting the building where I took it and just said to myself "I don't think I failed - I know I failed." I'm so disheartened. I was fairly confident beforehand... Also, I'm in NY, how long before I can re-take? Sorry I seem scrambled. It's because I am. Any answers or insight at all would mean so much to me right now Thank you
