  1. I'm kind of late but I did get in! I will probably be going to the Saturday orientation though. Congrats to all who got in. Cjmmm, sorry you didn't get in..but don't give up. I got more than one denial (from other schools) before I finally got an acceptance.
  2. Hey Rfedele76, I did not do well at all! I got a score of 4. The graphs in the English section were pretty hard and I was running out of time so much that when I got to the math section I only had about 40 minutes to work through the problems when you are supposed to have about 75 minutes for that section. So, I have 18 points now. I hope it will still be enough to get in...just really disappointed. I wasn't expecting an 8 but I figured I could get 6 points. I will just have to wait and see. It will be a long month....
  3. I currently have 14 points and I take the exam on the 26th.
  4. I just thought I would start a thread for those who are applying to SWIC for Summer 2016. I have taken all my courses at other universities and I already have a Bachelor's but my courses will transfer. However, I need to take Medical Terminology and Sociology over winter break to get the 4 points in the Gen Ed section. For the Chem/Algebra/Bio section, I will have 9 or 10/12 pts depending on the grade I get in my Stats course I'm currently taking. I don't have any healthcare experience so no points there. So hopefully, if I can get the maximum pts on the Pre-Nursing Exam, I will have 21 or 22 pts..this is my goal at least. Just want to find out where others are in the application process...
  5. I just called Valpo and was told letters were mailed out today. I asked if I emails would be sent out and the secretary said they would be sent out this afternoon. I don't know why I haven't received an email already. I hope this doesn't mean I wasnt accepted. I wonder if the emails are just for those accepted...
  6. I applied to Anderson and have received no email or letter yet. Also applied to Evansville and Valparaiso.
  7. Hi all! I literally took my TEAS yesterday and mailed my application packet to Valparaiso campus for overnight delivery. I scored 83.33 on the TEAS and 55 in my classes, Psych being a B. Overall, I have a score of 139.18. I hope it's enough to get in. I am also planning to apply to Evansville and one other location and I am actually in Missouri, so I am hitting the deadline pretty close. Good luck to everyone.
