  1. Hello Canucks, I think the amount of review time of each section depends on the individual themselves. For me, I found that 45 minute increments of review provided me with optimum focused reviewing and retention of the material being covered. After 45 minutes I found that my mind would start wondering. That is when I would stop for 10-15 minutes. I never forced myself to study/review nor did I study/review when I was tired. Good luck to you!
  2. This is going to be short and to the point so you know exactly how to pass the NCLEX your first time. After you graduate, give yourself a week to decompress from the rigors of finishing school. After that week I scheduled my test date five weeks away. I read that the sooner you take the exam the better your chance to pass. I purchased the 5 week session on learningext.com the NCSBN online study course for NCLEX for $70.00. Now this is where I think students lose their way. STUDY ONLY WHAT YOUR WEAK AREAS ARE. Don't waste time on things you know. Reviewing that material is a waste of time. I studied two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening every day and actually took weekends off for five weeks. I did not study the day before or the day of the exam. Relax cause you got this! During you exam, take the breaks offered you. I went to the bathroom and splashed cold water on my face and did some deep breathing. The brain needs oxygen to think effectively. Folks, I was not an A student and this worked for me. I passed. I hope this post will calm and help others. I'll say it again, "You got this!"
