Thanks so much for the responses! I have my license, the issue is I am from Canada and my CGFNS visa screen certificate got delayed. Everything worked out fine they just pushed back the contract dates

Did you use a tracking number for your notarized application? I would re-notarize a new application and send it with a tracking if that is not what was done the first time.

Hi Smargadine how long it did end up taking NY BON to process and issue your lisence once they recieved all the docs. I'm at that stage! Thanks for any info!!

Hello! I have a question, for nurses who have to cancel or delay a contract due to not being able to legally work at the time of the start date (license hasn't arrived OR visa hasn't been issued yet) What happens?? I signed a contract and now my documents have been delayed.

Hi everyone, Would greatly appreciate some info from NY nurses ! I applied to the NY BON by endorsement (Canadian nurse, but I already have a MN license) my application is complete they have confirmed receipt of all requiresd documents. I was told they are now in the review process. How long did this take for everyone once the NYSED received all the documents ?? Im wanting to take a contract in NY, but wonder how long it actually will be until I have a license. Thanks so much to anyone who has done this process :)
