1. Any North Carolina Residents told that their distant online nursing program is on hold or suspended? I thought it was just one particular school until I found out from another nurse that this affected her as well in a totally different out of state online program. Last I heard is the board wants to make sure that the education offered by out of state online programs meets the same minimal quality standards as education offered in the state of North Carolina or until certain requirements are met by their program. I'm not sure if this is just a educational issue, money issue or both. If you heard any thing differently, please share. If you heard of any updates please share as well.
2. Recently a nurse in a NP program in North Carolina told me her current program is on hold because it entails "field experience." I recently found out that WGU has suspended enrollment for North Carolina perspective students and it may be some type of bump in the road for its current students. I wonder how long this will be an issue. What in the world is truly going on? What can be done about this? Is this a state or legislative issue? Anyone with any information please address.

4. Hi 704RN2MSN, Do you plan on waiting it out or have you applied elsewhere? Also, did you get your BSN at WGU and wanted to transition into the MSN program?
5. What?! I don't know the legalities, BUT as someone posted earlier seek an attorney. What ever you do..........SAVE THAT STUDENT HANDBOOK BECAUSE THAT IS IN WRITING! I'm sorry you are going through this and I know it is stressful but you really need some type of expert legally.
6. Finally.....my transcript evaluation is complete..............34 credits remaining. Thank you Jesus! Let the journey begin!
