Really I think no one is checking and they are not being held accountable. No it not all residents or all CNAs. But I do find it is the more difficult or bed bound residents that are more likely to go without a decent and regular bath.

Ok thanks, the singular sheet per month is definitely, what I have been thinking about. Gonna put in some changes next week. Feeling pretty positive.

I am a treatment nurse in a LTC facility. They recently disbanded our bath team due to low census. We have 8 CNA's on first shift, 8 on second and 6 on third. That is if no one calls out (that's a problem all on it's own). I am noticing baths are not getting done, no nail care or mouth care. We currently use bath sheets and the floor nurses are to sign them before they go in the binder. They are getting signed but no one is checking if they are truly getting done. Problem also with these sheets are, we have 92 residents that should be bathed three times a week. So that's 276 sheets of papers every week. What am I supposed to do with all of this to track or check if a resident received a bath requires looking thru all those bath sheets. Any suggestions of a web site, any forms or a guide, or just some ideas of what works other places. Thanks in advance. ...,
